Welcome to the ask blog
We believe all parents have the right to access independent unbiased information which supports family life. The purpose of this blog is to help parents and carers by publishing blogs that we feel will support them. This will be done in a variety of ways, for example, highlighting current news in the media, local events or through information based on personal experience whereby sharing an experience may help support other parents if they are encountering similar problems. Sometimes just knowing that you are not the only one going through a particular experience can be helpful.
How can I find only the blogs that are of interest to me?
Each blog is put into a category. The default position is to show all blogs, however you can select a category by clicking on the Category icon (2nd button) along the green menu bar and it will display a list of categories, click on the one you want and only the blogs in that category will appear.
Can I rate a blog?
Yes. We have enabled a star rating system so that any reader will be able to rate a blog post. This we hope will help us to evaluate what type of blog parents are interested in reading so that we can focus on providing information that is more helpful. Just select as many stars as you think the blog deserves. The results will accumulate and will show how many people have rated so far.
Can I comment on a blog?
Yes. Click on the 'comments' link at the end of a blog and it will bring up a page for you to add your comments. This is an opportunity to provide a more detailed response to a blog. All comments will be moderated before they are published and you will be required to accept the terms and conditions before your comment can be submitted for moderation. Adding your email address is optional.
