Joe Wells

Hello, my name is Joe Wells and I’ve just been appointed as the new Young Persons Information, Advice and Support Service Development Worker here at PDF.

I have come from a previous role at Reading University as a participation tutor on a course training CAMHS clinicians. I also did lots of talks, training and writing on mental health and specifically OCD which I suffered from as a teenager.

I’m hoping to take my passion for meaningful participation and access to services that help young people and use it to help create an IASS that works for all young people.

I’m looking forward to meeting everyone that PDF work with and am keen to hear opinions on how Portsmouth IAS can be more young person friendly. My email address is joe.wells@portsmouthiass.org.uk
